Benjamin Franklin: 300 Philadelphia, Panel Discussion and Book Signing

On Wednesday, November 30, 2005, I attended the panel discussion and book signing, celebrating the publication of Benjamin Franklin: In Search of a Better World at the Free Library of Philadelphia, 1901 Vine Street. Six leading Franklin scholars and essay authors shared their perspectives on why Franklin still makes news. It went very well. The panelists included:

Ellen R. Cohn, Department of History at Yale University
Emma Lapsansky, Werner Chief Curator of Special Collections at Haverford College
J.A. Leo Lemay, Professor of English at the University of Delaware ( Above link supplied by Leo Lemay)
Billy G. Smith, Professor of History at Montana State University
Page Talbott, Associate Director of the Benjamin Franklin Tercentenary and Chief Curator of the Tercentenary's exhibition, Benjamin Franklin: In Search of a Better World.

James Srodes, Moderator and Author
