New York City: Great Mid-Week Getaway, March 22-25, 2006
On the first night, we headed directly to the Imperial Theatre for the "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels." On Thursday morning, we visited the Museum of Modern Art. We saw, among other things, "without boundary, seventeen ways of looking" -- special exhibit of Islamic art (2/26/06-5/22/06). Don't miss the museum terrace restaurant for lunch. At night, we went to the Longacre Theatre for "Well."

- Cosmic Collisions Space Show (Rose Center for Earth and Space) - A virtual reality experience (feel the impact) in the Hayden Planetarium. You will witness past, present, and future evolution of the universe. It is narrated by Robert Redford. Great show!
- Darwin Exhibit (11/19/05-5/29/06) - explores the life and discoveries of Charles Darwin
Following that we had dinner at Ben Benson's Steak House, 123 W. 52nd Street -off 6th Ave. - with its superb steak dishes and side dishes.
